Our Story

OUR MISSION

Modern life is making us sick.

Life is stressful and we live in an environment where we are surrounded by chemicals, eating over processed food and are disconnected from nature. The average woman uses 8 personal care products and applies 168 chemicals to her body every day..

Most of these chemicals are harmless, but others are endocrine disruptors, carcinogens and neurotoxins. There is growing concern that the combined chemical burden from these products may be directly related to increased rates of reproductive issues and cancer among women. The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists wrote a report stating that there is “robust” evidence linking “toxic environmental agents” to “adverse reproductive and developmental health outcomes”. It is time for change.

Unfortunately there is a lot of dishonestly in our industry and many products are claimed to be natural but are actually full of chemicals. We believe that skincare should be made only with ingredients found in nature, simple and honest without a trace of artificial chemicals.

WHO WE ARE

Studio Bond is a small independent company run by Natalie and Andy. We both had a love for the great outdoors and the dream of running a small business. At the same time Nat was conscious about what she was putting on her skin and what was in her skincare and fragrances so it made sense that we started making skincare that was simple, pure and chemical-free. We swapped the Peaks for the wild Welsh coast and Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) where we continue making small batches of natural skincare and scents from our tiny workshop at home.

To the best of our ability, we uphold values of sustainability and respect for nature.
